Update 5/18/26 – Over Winter Nuc pick ups are going to be May 30th, 2026, 8-9am. We normally send out emails on Wednesday evenings for Saturday morning pick up. All other orders will start coming out every Saturday after that. Early orders starting in October will be filled earlier in June and later orders will be filled later in June. This information was also on the item when it was reserved. Please don’t keep asking when my order will be ready. Things are on schedule, but we need the weather to also cooperate. Thank you.
Thank you for your nuc and package orders last year we are getting things ready for next year and the bees are looking great. All our bees are split and raised after we finish selling nucs in mid-July.
2026 Nucs are open to reserve for spring of 2026. We plan to be adding some Carniolan breeder queens this year to enhance and diverse our great bee stock. Nucs normally will start going out in late May – early June. We like to get them out by early July but that always doesn’t happen due to weather conditions. We are deep in the lake effect snow area which has huge affect on spring bee build up, we have to let our bees build up and have mature drones to produce nucs and queens. If you want or need your bees early please order from the south.
