Northern Mated VSH Carniolan Queens

We are taking queen orders for 2025. We ship USPS hold at the Post Office and are only guaranteeing live delivery on Express shipping. Queens will be reserved by months and you will receive a email with the intent to ship a few days before they ship.

Open mated queens will be grafted from winter proven VHS Carniolan hybrid breeder queens throughout the queen rearing season. These are local Western NY hardy, productive, and healthy genetics.  We add northern proven genetics annually to our stock to keep them diverse. In 2020 we will be enhancing our VHS stock with new VSH Carniolan breeder queens.  We will also be working with Instrumentally Inseminated from our best colonies to strengthen our local stock. Last year, 2019, we have added Imported Slovenian Carnica breeder queens from New River Honeybees. We have VP Queen’s Spartan and Sue Cobey’s New World Carniolans. We have added some great breeder queens from Lauri Miller in 2016 to our breeder stock that have wintered very well. For 2017 we have added some Minnesota Hygienic queens to our breeding stock and later in the summer will be getting some Palmer queens to try. For 2018 we have added VSH Northern breeder queens, Saskatraz, and Caucasian queens to our local stock. All queens will be at least 21-28 days old and will have capped brood prier to being sold.

Available for shipping on Mondays or picked up at agreed upon time in Sinclairville, NY.

Shipping is via USPS Priority mail at $12.00 for up to 10 queens or
USPS Express Mail at $32.00 for up to 10 queens.
Over 10 queens will be extra shipping cost.

There could be extra shipping charges for separate shipping dates, Alaska, and far western states.
All queens will be held at your local post office for pick up.

We like to take orders for a specific date so our customers will know when to expect their queens. This usually works out, only time is doesn’t are the early dates, which can be effected by weather. If this happens you will be notified prier to your shipping date and informed of any adjustments needed.
